China Glass Holdings Limited (“China Glass” or the “Company”) is one of the most efficient manufacturers of flat glass in China.

In 2004, Jiangsu Glass Group was reorganised by Hony Capital under Lenovo Holdings to become China Glass Holdings Limited, which has become listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 23 June 2005, with the stock name of “China Glass” and the stock code 3300.

China Glass has 14 glass production lines with a daily capacity of 4,780 tons. The Company’s solar-energy glass production line in Taicang, Jiangsu Province and coated-glass production line in Xianyang, Shaanxi, which are both under construction, will commence mass production within this year, adding the total number of production lines up to 16 with a daily capacity of 5,610 tons.

China Glass has strategically located its production facilities by establishing its six production bases in Beijing, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shaanxi and the Inner Mongolia. Some of these bases boast unique competitive edges in the market for their proximity to the major markets. Others are highly cost effective for being adjacent to the energy resources and origins of raw materials.

China Glass offers a wide variety of product portfolio, ranging from colourless glass, coloured glass and all types of coated glass for construction to the special glass including low-radiation energy-saving glass and solar energy glass.

With approximately one third of its total production exported to more than 80 countries and regions, China Glass is one of the most dominant flat glass exporter in China.

China Glass has strong research and development capabilities and the technical know-how. The Company’s research and development centre boasts the nation’s top research team and technological advancement and is currently holding 9 patents for its glass products.
